Behavioral Agreement & Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

At Camp Alegria, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all campers can learn, grow, and enjoy their time together. We partner with families to support positive behavior and clear expectations.

Camp Alegria Behavior Expectations

Campers are expected to:

Show Respect

Be kind, listen to camp staff, and treat other campers with care.

Participate Positively

Take part in activities and encourage peers in a supportive way.

Use Appropriate Language

Respectful language is expected at all times.

Keep Hands to Yourself

Physical aggression such as hitting, pushing, or rough play is not allowed.

Follow Camp Rules & Safety Guidelines

Camp rules are in place to keep everyone safe and supported.

Practice a Bully-Free Environment

Bullying of any kind—including verbal, physical, or electronic—is not permitted.

Behavior Support & Consequences

Camp Alegria uses a progressive approach to behavior support:

First Incident

Redirection and discussion with camp staff

Second Incident

Parent/guardian notification

Continued or Serious Concerns

Meeting with camp leadership and possible dismissal from camp

Important Notice

Repeated or severe behavior issues may result in dismissal from the program without refund.

Parent & Camper Acknowledgment

By agreeing to this Code of Conduct during registration, you acknowledge that you have read and reviewed the Camp Alegria Code of Conduct with your child. You understand the expectations and agree to support a positive camp experience for all participants.
